Carson Demers wrote the preeminent book on the subject, Knitting Comfortably: The Ergonomics of Handknitting, which provides practical advice for knitters, crocheters, and spinners. Demers' interest in ergonomics was deeply influenced by a personal injury related to computer use that left him unable to knit for two years. This experience fueled his mission to "demystify" ergonomics for the fiber community, focusing on root causes of discomfort and teaching sustainable techniques.
